GENERAL DIRECTION
- Maintain and improve undergraduate training programs and implement postgraduate training programs towards approaching the trends of developed countries, aiming for even better training quality to meet the needs of the labor market.
- Enhance scientific research activities; strengthen and expand cooperation domestically and internationally.
- Consolidate and develop infrastructure and educational ecosystem, ensuring minimum requirements for teaching and learning services, closely managing the entire system, progressing towards gradually improving the infrastructure and educational ecosystem foundation.
EDUCATION TRAINING - QUALITY ASSURANCE
- Ensuring the quality of education in the Public Health training program. Enhancing program management and accountability within the Faculty. Sustaining and improving undergraduate training programs towards aligning with the trends of developed countries, aiming for even better training quality to meet the demands of the labor market. Enhancing the teaching quality of the faculty (expertise, teaching skills).
- Implementing the development and organization of short-term training courses to meet market demands.
- Preparing human resources for launching new training programs: prioritizing postgraduate programs, including the primary specialty program in Public Health and related fields within the realm of Public Health, and the Master's program in Public Health.
RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
- Conducting scientific research according to international standards and levels. Increasing both the quantity and quality of research products and technological developments.
- Ensuring the quality of domestic and international scientific conferences, with particular attention to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of workshops and scientific seminars, ensuring novelty, applicability, and creativity.
- Achieving 100% participation of faculty members in scientific research.
- Effectively publishing research results on the University's website and the Public Health Department's information platforms, and utilizing useful reference sources for education and research.
- Establishing and developing the activity plan of 01 strong research group in the field of public health.
- Regular participation in reputable national specialized conferences.
- Encouraging students to participate in scientific research activities and scientific research competitions (at the university, city, and national levels).
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND COLLABORATION
- Continuously enhance international relations with Centers for Disease Control, Hospitals, Health Centers; Public Health Departments of domestic Medical Universities; Non-governmental Organizations and Research Institutes/Centers within the country in scientific research and project implementation.
- Strengthen and expand international cooperation with Universities, Institutes, Research Centers within the region and worldwide.
COMMUNITY SERVICE WORK
- Continuously sustain the community service activities conducted by the students and lecturers, while also further enhancing the variety and quality of community service activities to improve professional expertise.
HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT WORK
- Standardizing the academic qualifications of faculty members, as well as enhancing admission criteria, with all faculty members in the Faculty holding at least a Master's degree.
- Striving to have 02 Ph.D. holders as full-time faculty members by 2025, and by 2030, the Faculty aims to have at least 04 Ph.D holders as full-time faculty members.
- Standardizing the human resources team, including support staff within the Department's management, ensuring all receive specialized training and regular professional development, with the quality of activities assessed at a satisfactory level or higher.
- Enhancing personnal according to the approved job position plan.
