I. DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING PROGRAM

1. Introduction to training program

The Bachelor of Nursing training program is built based on the Vietnamese National Qualifications Framework; regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Health; feedback from relevant parties; and reference to the Nursing training programs of domestic and international universities. The program is built in an integrated direction based on capacity; increasing practice time, clinical practice; focusing on promoting creativity, critical thinking, and self-study of learners to form the capacities that learners need to achieve after graduation, ready to participate in the work of caring for, protecting and improving people's health.

3. Program Educational Objectives (POs)

3.1. General objectives

Training nurses with professional competence at the university level; practicing following the law and professional ethics standards; creatively, self-studying continuously; conducting scientific research, working both independently and collaboratively; managing and developing the profession to meet the needs of protecting, caring for, and improving human health.

3.2. Specific objectives

POb 1: Applying Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, the revolutionary line of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws to the work of caring for and protecting human health.

Pob2: Applying professional knowledge to health care for individuals, families, and communities.

POb 3: Manage and practice evidence-based health care, ensuring comprehensive and ongoing quality of care.

POb 4: Work professionally, ensure health, adapt, integrate, and develop in the labor market.

POb 5: Apply critical thinking, creativity, self-learning ability, and lifelong learning ability in the field of health care.

POb 6: Comply with the law and professional ethics; be autonomous, self-responsible in caring for and protecting human health.

PLO 92: Apply knowledge of the specialty of anesthesia and resuscitation to effectively prepare for anesthesia and resuscitation and emergency resuscitation.

 

Criterion 1: Apply basic knowledge of anesthesia and resuscitation to communicate, examine, assess, and evaluate the patient's health status before anesthesia and resuscitation and emergency resuscitation.

Criterion 2: Apply basic knowledge of anesthesia and resuscitation to prepare machines, equipment, tools, and medicines before anesthesia and resuscitation and emergency resuscitation.

Criterion 3: Perform appropriate patient preparation before anesthesia, resuscitation, and emergency resuscitation.

PLO 102: Apply skills in the field of anesthesia and resuscitation to perform basic anesthesia and resuscitation techniques, coordinate the implementation of anesthesia techniques for patients in specialized fields, and provide safe, high-quality and effective emergency resuscitation.

 

Criterion 1: Apply knowledge of basic anesthesia and resuscitation skills, anesthesia, and resuscitation skills in specialized fields and emergency resuscitation appropriate to patients and surgeries.

Criterion 2: Able to perform basic anesthesia techniques, basic anesthesia techniques appropriate to the patient's health condition and surgical requirements.

Criterion 7: Cooperate effectively with members of the anesthesia, resuscitation and emergency resuscitation team to coordinate the implementation of appropriate, safe and effective anesthesia, resuscitation and emergency resuscitation techniques for patients.

PLO 93: Apply basic dental knowledge, pathology, and prevention to provide care, disease prevention, and oral health education for individuals and the community.

PLO 103: Apply dental skills to coordinate with physicians in treatment and care, manage administrative records, tools, and equipment related to the specialty of dentistry at medical facilities.
