DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

1. GENERAL ORIENTATION

Management organization of the Faculty satisfies the stipulated requirements in terms of quantity and quality. Maintaining and developing the reputation of the Faculty in nursing education, scientific research, and community service. Expanding international cooperation activities. Developing the cultural identity of the Faculty in order to meet the demands of stakeholders.

 

2. REGARDING TRAINING - EDUCATIONAL QUALITY ASSURANCE

- Orientation: Professionalize training and educational quality assurance, accomplish accreditation for undergraduate nursing program, open postgraduate programs (such as Clinical nurse specialist grade 1 and master degrees in nursing).

- Targets:

Continuously improve the quality of training programs.

+ Achieve certificate of training program accreditation for undergraduate nursing program according to Vietnam or AUN-QA standards.

+ Open postgraduate programs (Clinical nurse specialist grade 1, Master of science in Nursing).

+ Develop short-term training programs in nursing.

+ Develop affiliate education programs in nursing

 

3. REGARDING SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES

- Orientation: Enhance the quality of scientific research according to international standards. Increase the quantity and quality of scientific research products. Promote international publications.

- Targets:

+ All faculty members participate in scientific research activities. Having at least 3 research projects/year (funding by the university) and one project (funding by provincial/city government).

+ Increasing the quantity and quality of international and domestic scientific publications. Each year, there are at least 03 international scientific articles and 03 domestic scientific articles.

+ Periodically participate in domestic and international conferences related to nursing.

+ Create and grow 03 specialized research teams in nursing

+ Promote scientific research activities among students

 

4. REGARDING COOPERATIVE ACTIVITIES

- Strengthen university-hospital collaboration with medical facilities.

- Maintain and develop current domestic and international cooperative connections.

- Develop collaborative partnerships with new domestic and international partners.

 

5. REGARDING COMMUNITY SERVICE

- Continue to organize community engagement activities such as community internships, medical examination and treatment, health consultation,...

- Continue to provide support in nursing field to medical facilities inside and outside Da Nang city.

 

6. DEVELOPMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCE 

- Continue to recruit enough faculty members according to the approved job position project.

- Improve the qualification of the faculty members, especially lecturers with PhD degree. By 2025, there will be at least 4 PhDs and PhD candidates who are full-time lecturers.

- All faculty members satisfy the standards for professional titles
