On the afternoon of December 15, 2025, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy organized a workshop entitled “Strengthening Communication Activities”, aiming to enhance awareness, skills, and the effectiveness of communication activities across the University to meet development requirements in the new phase.
Attending the workshop were journalist Vu Manh Cuong, Director of the Central Center for Health Education Communication (Ministry of Health); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy, Rector of the University; Dr. Nguyen Minh Son, Vice Rector; along with heads of units, officials in charge of, and staff involved in communication activities throughout the university.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Minh Son, Vice Rector of the University, emphasized the particularly important role of communication in the university environment, especially for institutions providing training in health sciences. Communication not only contributes to promoting the University’s image, reputation, and brand, but also serves as a bridge connecting academic values, scientific research activities, and community-oriented contributions with society. On this occasion, the Vice Rector also expressed his sincere appreciation to journalist Vu Manh Cuong for his interest and for taking the time to share valuable experiences at the workshop.
At the workshop, journalist Vu Manh Cuong presented practical insights on modern communication trends, message-building skills, and the effective use of digital platforms and social media in the fields of education and healthcare. Discussions focused on clarifying current difficulties and challenges in communication work, while also proposing solutions to enhance professionalism, consistency, and the effectiveness of the University’s information dissemination.
The workshop also provided an opportunity for units within the university to exchange experiences and share effective models and best practices in organizing and implementing communication activities. This exchange contributed to strengthening coordination and synchronization among departments, thereby helping to build the image of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy as an increasingly reputable, dynamic, and sustainably developing institution.
Through the workshop, the university expects that its communication staff will be further equipped with knowledge, skills, and clear orientations, creating a solid foundation for innovation and improvement in the quality of communication activities in the coming period.
