Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Medipeace Organization

On the afternoon of February 6, 2026, at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony was held between DUMTP and Medipeace to implement professional support activities in the field of Rehabilitation for the period 2026–2029.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy, Rector of the University, along with representatives from relevant departments and faculties. Representing Medipeace was Mr. Hong Jung Pyo, Country Director of Medipeace in Vietnam, together with project experts and staff.

At the ceremony, both parties agreed that this collaboration marks an important step in strengthening international cooperation, enhancing training and practical capacity in the field of rehabilitation, and effectively implementing community support activities. Mr. Hong Jung Pyo expressed his confidence in the professional capacity of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy and his expectation that the partnership will contribute to improving the quality of rehabilitation services, supporting persons with disabilities, and developing sustainable Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) models in Vietnam and the region.

Under the MOU, the two parties will coordinate to implement activities aimed at strengthening professional capacity in rehabilitation for healthcare personnel; enhancing technical support for CBR projects in Quang Tri, Da Nang, and Laos; and promoting needs assessments, knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and the development of standardized curricula in the fields of Rehabilitation and CBR.

The MOU signing ceremony between Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy and Medipeace marks an important milestone in strengthening international cooperation, contributing to improving the quality of education, research, and practice in rehabilitation, and advancing the goal of comprehensive and sustainable healthcare for the community.
