On the morning of March 2, 2026, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony to welcome 6th-year medical students from Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy for their first clinical placement at the hospital in the 2025–2026 academic year.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy – Rector; Dr. Dang Van Thoi – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Minh Son – Vice Rector; along with leaders of functional departments, lecturers, and 141 final-year medical students. Representing Hue Central Hospital were Prof. Dr. Pham Nhu Hiep – Director; Specialist Level II Dr. Pham Nhu Vinh Tuyen – Deputy Director; Dr. Ho Van Linh – Deputy Director; together with heads of centers, departments, and administrative units.

In her remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy, Rector of the University, expressed sincere appreciation for the Hospital’s support, close coordination, and effective professional collaboration. She emphasized that sending students for clinical

training at Hue Central Hospital is an important step in improving the quality of the University’s training programs, ensuring a strong integration of theory and practice, and meeting the increasing demands of the healthcare sector in the current

context.

The Rector also advised the 141 final-year medical students to uphold a strong sense of responsibility, strictly comply with the Hospital’s rules and regulations, and maintain professional conduct and respectful attitudes toward patients and healthcare staff. Students were encouraged to take initiative in learning, make the most of their clinical training time, gain practical experience, and cultivate both medical ethics and professional competence, thereby representing the University with pride in a highly specialized and professional clinical environment.

Hue Central Hospital is a leading tertiary hospital in the Central region, offering a full range of specialties, with many  advanced technical services supported by modern and synchronized equipment. Its team of experienced doctors, lecturers,

and experts has achieved significant accomplishments in medical examination and treatment, education, and scientific research. Therefore, it provides an ideal clinical training environment for medical students.

This is the second cohort of medical students from Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy to undertake clinical training at Hue Central Hospital, marking a sustainable development in the partnership between the two institutions

and contributing to the enhancement of training quality and the development of high-quality healthcare human resources in the new phase.
