On the afternoon of August 14, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy organized a workshop on program-level quality assurance for the Nursing and Public Health programs under the ASEAN University Network–Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) framework. The workshop summarized achievements to date and outlined the next phase of quality assessment in line with regional and international standards.

During the event, participants reviewed reports on both self-assessment and external evaluation of the Nursing and Public Health programs under AUN-QA standards. Faculty members from the two departments shared their experiences, while the university also introduced plans to expand self-assessment and external reviews to five additional programs: Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, and Rehabilitation Engineering.
In her remarks, Dr. Le Thi Thuy, Rector of the university, commended the dedication and results achieved by units and individuals, especially the successful accreditation of the Nursing and Public Health programs. On this occasion, the university recognized and awarded 10 individuals for their outstanding contributions to quality assurance, further enhancing the institution’s training standards and reputation.
The workshop not only raised awareness and provided a platform to share experiences regarding AUN-QA standards and procedures but also reaffirmed the university’s commitment to advancing educational quality, strengthening regional and international integration, and striving to become a leading health sciences university.
