Da Nang university of Medical Technology and Pharmacy holds graduation ceremony for first specialist level I cohort in 2025

On the afternoon of May 10, 2025, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy held a solemn graduation ceremony for the first cohort of Specialist Level I trainees, alongside regular graduates of the 2025 bridging program in Pharmacy.

The event was attended by Dr. Le Van Nho, Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Le Thi Thuy, Vice Party Secretary and Rector of the University; members of the Board of Rectors; former university leaders; heads of departments; faculty members; and staff. Notably, the ceremony welcomed representatives from hospitals across Da Nang, the University’s longstanding partners in clinical training and professional development for both students and trainees.

In her address, Dr. Le Thi Thuy extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduates, praising their determination, academic dedication, and perseverance throughout their training. She emphasized that well-trained, high-quality medical professionals will be a driving force in enhancing community health services amid the country’s evolving development context. She also expressed sincere gratitude to affiliated hospitals for their vital role in supporting clinical education.

Following her speech, Rector Dr. Le Thi Thuy personally conferred degrees upon the new Specialist Level I graduates and newly certified pharmacists in an atmosphere of pride and celebration.

This milestone marks the successful completion of the university’s inaugural Specialist Level I program, which currently covers two fields: Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology. The university is currently training students across 6 Specialist Level I disciplines and continues to expand into new specialties to meet growing healthcare demands.

The ceremony was not only a memorable occasion for each individual graduate but also underscored the University’s strong commitment to providing comprehensive, practice-oriented medical education bridging theory with hands-on experience to serve the mission of public health improvement.
