On the morning of June 21, 2025, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy held the closing ceremony of the specialized training course “Speech and Language Therapy for Children with Autism and Language Disorders”, following three months of serious and effective implementation.

Throughout the course, participants were provided with a comprehensive and systematic foundation of knowledge on childhood language disorders and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The curriculum covered essential competencies such as identifying clinical characteristics, conducting assessments, setting individualized intervention goals, and practicing appropriate therapeutic strategies tailored to each child’s developmental stage.

A special focus was placed on the application of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools, along with building practical skills in family counseling and interdisciplinary teamwork – all of which are critical for effective support in real-world therapeutic settings.

Upon completion of the program, participants who fulfilled all training requirements and passed the final assessment received the Certificate of Specialized Technical Training issued by Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy. Others who completed the course but did not meet full certification criteria were awarded a certificate of participation.
