On the morning of July 24, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy held the closing ceremony for the external quality assessment of the Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Public Health programs under the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) standards.
The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Attachai Ueranantasun – Chief Assessor, together with members of the AUN-QA expert panel; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hoang – Deputy Director of Da Nang Hospital for Woman and Children. Representing the university were Dr. Le Van Nho – Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Le Thi Thuy – Rector; Vice Rectors; leaders of faculties, departments, centers; and lecturers and students from the two assessed faculties.

At the closing session, the AUN-QA experts presented the preliminary findings of the program evaluation. On behalf of the panel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Attachai Ueranantasun thanked the university for its warm hospitality, meticulous preparation, and active cooperation throughout the process. He highlighted the strengths of both programs and provided practical recommendations to help the university further enhance its training quality in the future.
Rector Dr. Le Thi Thuy expressed her sincere appreciation to the AUN-QA experts for their professionalism, objectivity, and dedication. She affirmed that the panel’s valuable feedback would serve as a crucial foundation for the university’s improvement plans and committed to fully implementing specific actions to raise the quality of training and foster international integration.
The ceremony concluded three days of productive, meaningful work by the AUN-QA delegation at the university (from July 22 to 24, 2025), marking the 493rd assessment.

The results of this assessment will serve as an objective basis for the university to further standardize and integrate its programs, strengthen academic reputation, improve competitiveness, and better meet the demand for high-quality healthcare human resources in the context of higher education reform and deep international integration.
