On the afternoon of November 13, 2025, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, in collaboration with VietinBank – North Da Nang Branch, held the scholarship award ceremony for the program “VietinBank – Nurturing Future Medical Professionals.” The scholarship aims to support students with difficult financial circumstances who have demonstrated strong efforts and achieved good results in both academic performance and personal development.

In attendance on behalf of the University were Dr. Dang Van Thoi – Vice Rector; leaders of the Office of Political and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the University Youth Union, and academic advisors of the classes with scholarship recipients. Representing VietinBank – North Da Nang Branch were Ms. Phan Thi Linh Nga – Deputy Director of the Branch, along with representatives from various departments. The 10 students selected for the scholarship were also present at the ceremony.

During the program, Ms. Phan Thi Linh Nga, representing VietinBank, awarded 10 scholarships to students who have shown resilience and determination in overcoming hardship to excel in their studies. These scholarships serve as meaningful encouragement, giving students confidence and motivation to continue striving on their path toward becoming future healthcare professionals.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Dang Van Thoi, Vice Rector of the University, expressed his appreciation to VietinBank – North Da Nang Branch for accompanying the University through this meaningful scholarship initiative. He emphasized that the support from the sponsor plays an important role in motivating students to overcome difficulties and make progress in their studies. Dr. Thoi congratulated the 10 scholarship recipients and encouraged them to continue their efforts to become competent and ethical healthcare practitioners.

On behalf of the scholarship recipients, student Nguyen Tra My from class DHYK11C expressed her gratitude to the University and VietinBank, affirming that the scholarship is a great source of encouragement, inspiring them to continue studying hard, improving themselves, and nurturing their aspirations to become compassionate and capable “future physicians.”

The ceremony concluded in a formal yet warm and heartfelt atmosphere. The University sincerely thanks VietinBank – North Da Nang Branch for accompanying its students and for contributing to the spread of meaningful humanitarian values and the spirit of community support.
