On the morning of November 23, 2023, Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy organized a Startup Idea Contest (SV_STARTUP-2023) . Attending the competition was Dr. Le Thi Thuy, the principal of the chool, along with leaders of relevant departments and faculties, with the participation students who have startup projects participating in the competition.

        There are 5 projects participating in this competition, with the participation of 21 students currently studying the Medical Laboratory, Medicine, and Pharmacy majors. Project groups presented their startup projects specifically in the presence of the Exam Board. In particular, some groups had specific products to introduce in the competition, ensuring compliance with the conditions and regulations. regulations and contest rules. With the fair, objective and responsible assessment of the Examination Board, at the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee summarized and awarded First, Second, and Third prizes to the Project groups:

        - First prize for the Herbal Sunscreen Project, by students: Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao; Hua Thi Hoang Ngoc; Dinh Thi Thanh Binh; Le Dang Nha Tam; Nguyen Pham Bao Thien, currently studying Pharmacy.

- Second prize for the App Project on nutritional menus for patients diagnosed with simple type 2 diabetes and other related diseases, by students: Bui Van Dat; Pham Tai Phu Vi; Nguyen Dang Tuan Anh; Bui Anh Hao, currently studying Medicine.

        - Third prize for the Kombucha anti-inflammatory and acne-reducing mask project, by students: Nguyen Cong Hieu; Pham Nguyen Gia Han; Le Thi Quy Chi; Nguyen Quoc Khoa; Le Thi Nhu Quynh, currently studying Medical Testing.

         In the coming time, the School will continue to orient and support project teams that have won prizes to participate in the ministerial-level student startup idea competition (SV_STARTUP) to be held in January 2024. The competition is an opportunity for school students to promote the creativity of youth, create an environment and mechanism for start-up activities, encourage students to be creative, realize ideas and start-up projects that contribute to creation  for students after graduation.
