HISTORY

1. History

March 26, 1963, marks the establishment of the Army - People's Medicine Officers School in the Central Highlands and also the establishment of the Clinical Medicine Department, participating in training specialties such as Nursing... alongside the University. In 1991, the department began training the first Intermediate Physicians.

In February 2006, the school was upgraded to become the Technical College of Medical Technology II. The Clinical Medicine Department split into two departments: Clinical Medicine and Basic Medicine, both of which participated in training Intermediate Physicians and continued training Intermediate Physicians.

In May 2013, the school was further upgraded to become the University of Medical Technology - Medicine Da Nang. From April 1, 2014, the Faculty of Medicine was established based on the existing departments of Basic Medicine, Clinical Medicine, and Obstetrics. Continuing the training tradition of the university, the Faculty of Medicine undertakes the teaching of Medical Doctors, starting with the first batch in 2015.

Currently, the Faculty of Medicine has trained 3 batches of Medical Doctors at the university level and 23 batches of Intermediate Physicians, and also collaborates with the University in training all fields such as Nursing, Laboratory Testing, Pharmacy, Imaging, and Functional Rehabilitation...
