FUNCTIONS - MISSIONS OF THE FACULTY OF MEDICINE

1. Functions

The Faculty of Medicine is the specialized unit of the University, under the direct leadership of the President, with the function of assisting the President in developing the department's training strategy in line with the university's general strategic direction; managing and overseeing the professional activities of the affiliated departments.

2. Missions

2.1. Manage faculty members, other staff, and students within the department according to the President's delegation hierarchy.

2.2. Develop plans and organize the implementation of educational activities according to the university's general plan, including: - Developing the curriculum for the field of study assigned by the university, ensuring consistency and avoiding overlap between courses or training levels. - Organizing curriculum development, project drafting, material compilation, and textbook creation in line with the university's development direction. - Conducting research to improve teaching and learning methods, and implementing assessment methods to ensure students' learning outcomes meet published commitments and meet the needs of the job market. Curriculum development, textbooks, and teaching materials must comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

2.3. Develop plans and organize scientific and technological activities, international cooperation; collaborate with scientific and technological organizations, production facilities, and businesses related to the training profession and involve businesses in the department's training process.

2.4. Develop plans for the development of faculty, training fields, and facilities to serve education and scientific research, enhancing conditions to ensure the quality of education. 2.5. Develop plans and organize the implementation of political, ideological, ethical, and lifestyle education for faculty, staff, and students; provide training and professional development for faculty and staff within the department.

2.6. Organize the evaluation of managerial staff, faculty, and researchers within the department and participate in the evaluation of managerial staff in the university as per university regulations.

2.7. Advise relevant departments and the Board of Directors on procurement, repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities for training; responsible for the conservation, operation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

2.8. Develop plans, policies, and provide community services related to assigned functions and responsibilities.

2.9. Participate in other assigned tasks by the University.
