I. Overview of the taught subjects at the Faculty of Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine consists of 4 departments:
Department of Basic Medicine, teaching subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology - Immunology, Pathological Anatomy, Embryology, Basic Nursing, Forensic Medicine, Cell Examination, Allergy, Functional Investigation, Immunopathology for most students throughout the university.
Department of Internal - Infectious - Family Medicine, teaching subjects such as Internal Basics, Preclinical, Internal Pathology, Neurology, Tuberculosis, Infectious Diseases, Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology for medical students and subjects such as Pathology, Basic Pathology, General Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology for Nursing students, Functional Rehabilitation Technicians, Medical Imaging Technicians, Pharmacists, Public Health.
Department of External - Specialty Medicine, teaching subjects such as External Basics, External Pathology, Preclinical, Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Practical Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Psychiatry for medical students and subjects such as Pathology for Nursing students, Functional Rehabilitation Technicians, Medical Imaging Technicians, Pharmacists.
Department of Obstetrics and Pediatrics, teaching subjects related to Obstetrics and Pediatrics. Departments within the faculty operate independently in terms of professional activities. However, for smooth coordination and synchronization in teaching medical students, these departments need to cooperate closely under the direction of the faculty's leadership. Due to their independent professional activities, faculty members also rarely meet each other except for joint activities of the faculty.

II. Main professional activities of the departments at the Faculty of Medicine
Theoretical teaching for students in lecture halls.
Practical teaching for students in laboratories.
Supervision of students at hospitals, mainly at Danang Hospital, C Hospital Danang, Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital Danang, Danang Oncology Hospital, and Danang Hai Chau Hospital.
Participation in scientific research activities.
Compilation of detailed course outlines, textbooks, and question banks.
Supervision of students in preparing their final theses, thesis evaluation.
Participation in conferences and workshops to update and improve professional skills, reform teaching programs, and enhance pedagogical skills.
