DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION - VISION FOR THE PERIOD 2020 - 2025

1. General Development of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Educational Culture – University Management

  • Develop and refine a modern management system, advanced operational methods, and professionalism.

  • International integration in training through competency standards and scientific research recognized by society and international professional associations.

  • Develop cultural identity to meet the needs of staff, students, and society.

  • Develop a competent, highly skilled, and specialized workforce in each teaching and research area.

2. Training Work and Ensuring Education Quality (EQA)

Direction:

Professionalize training and ensure education quality, open additional specialized training branches in the field of Rehabilitation at the university level, specifically in Therapeutic Activities and postgraduate specialization.

Goals:

  • Ensure program quality according to international standards, create necessary conditions to open new branches at the university and postgraduate levels.

  • Research and develop cooperative training programs at the university and postgraduate levels, short-term training programs, and technical specialization certificates.

  • Standardize all activities to meet the criteria of university education quality standards - training program level (by the Ministry of Education and upcoming ASEAN - AUN-QA standards), obtain education quality assurance certificates, and maintain achievements.

3. Scientific Research Work

Direction:

Research following international standards and qualifications. Enhance the quality of scientific research products and technology development.

Goals:

  • Ensure the quality of scientific conferences, particularly focusing on improving the quality and effectiveness of workshops.

  • All lecturers participate in scientific research and contribute research results to new knowledge development.

  • Effectively publish research results on the university's website and utilize useful references to serve training and research.

  • Establish and develop 01 specialized research group.

4. Foreign Relations Work

Direction:

Enhance international cooperation, participate in research networks and training cooperation with reputable organizations in the field of rehabilitation. Promote exchanges of experts, interns, and international students to enhance experience and knowledge.

Goals:

  • Develop diverse new international cooperation programs in various fields of training exchange, research, and training management.

  • Expand international cooperation relations and regularly participate in specialized conferences.

  • Maintain existing domestic and international cooperation relations.

  • Develop cooperation between the University and Institutes, expand research cooperation with hospitals.

  • Establish cooperative relationships with external partners, including Medical Schools, Research Institutes, and Technology Companies.

5. Resource Development

Direction:

Enhance the academic qualifications of existing personnel while seeking to recruit new high-quality personnel. Upgrade educational infrastructure to meet international standards.

Goals:

  • Increase the proportion of lecturers with PhDs and Associate Professors.

  • Standardize support personnel (all trained in professional skills and regularly undergo vocational training, with the quality of activities rated above average).

  • Promote program innovation and continuous capacity development for personnel.

  • Develop infrastructure to meet international standards.
