History of formation and development process
Establishment and development process: The predecessor of the Department was the Finance Department of the Central Central Region, merged by 02 Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy to be named the School of Medical Officers of the Central Central Region, established on March 26, 1963 at Song River. Re, Quang Ngai. In 1975, the name was changed to Finance - Accounting Department until 2001 and on September 7, 2001, it was upgraded to Finance - Accounting Department until now.

- Ton Hoang Huong: November 2019 - January 2024.
- Do Nguyen Kim Thu: February 2024 - June 2024.
