Danang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy is a public university, a non-business unit, directly supervised by the Ministry of Health. The university's primary mission is to cultivate high-caliber human resources for the healthcare sector, offering comprehensive training programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Since 2013, the university has admitted its first cohort of undergraduate students.
Until now a total of more than 10 thousand students are enrolled in undergraduate training programs, encompassing both full-time and part-time/in-service systems.
Following the admission regulations of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, the University has implemented diverse admission methods in recent years for various majors, such as General Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, and Public Health. The acceptance rate consistently exceeds 70% of each year's enrollment quota.
In addition to its undergraduate training program, the University has offered a specialist level 1 training program since 2022, which has attracted a substantial number of graduates.
