1. Functions
The Department of Academic Affairs is responsible for advising the President on the development of planning strategies, as well as the implementation and management of training programs and educational activities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This includes the formulation of admission plans, management of teaching schedules, oversight of the curriculum for all training programs, management of textbooks, teaching materials, and syllabi, as well as the supervision of teaching and learning methods, all in accordance with the guidelines and regulations set forth by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Health.
2. Mission
+ Proposing the opening of new majors, specialties, or training sectors in accordance with the directives of the President. Developing program learning objectives and outcomes for all training programs. Managing, monitoring, and advising the President on the implementation and updating of training programs.
+ Planning and organizing enrollment for programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Health.
+ Developing and implementing training plans for each course, semester, and academic year. Administering, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of annual teaching and learning activities.
+ Offering guidance to relevant units on composing and evaluating textbooks, teaching materials, and syllabi for all training courses.
+ Designing and establishing documents (regulations, rules, guidelines, procedures) for managing training activities and work processes in relevant units in the University.
+ Managing the procedures for issuing diplomas, certificates, and academic transcripts upon graduation from all training programs.
+ Collaborating with other units to implement activities related to quality accreditation and assurance in training.
