FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

1. FUNCTIONS

Office of Politics and Student Affairs has the following functions:

- Advising and helping the Principal organize and manage political work, ideology, ethics, and lifestyle among students according to the following principles, guidelines and policies of the Party and laws of the State.

- Carrying out the management of students according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training as well as relevant regulations of the school.

2. DUTIES

2.1. The main task

a) Be the focal point to gather and consult with the Board of Directors to resolve feedback from students, teachers, departments, facultiess on aspects related to learning, scientific research and activities of students. Periodically organize dialogues between leaders, offices, faculties and students.

b) Advise on organizing reception for admitting students: make admission lists, create student codes for each catergory; arrange classes, appoint temporary staff and organize class meetings to re-elect class staff at the beginning of the school year; make a student card; post-check of admission documents.

c) Deploy and disseminate to students participating in health insurance.

d) Organize a week of political and ideological activities: learning the rules, regulations, rights and obligations for students during the process of studying at the School.

đ) Deploy the assessment of students' training results for each semester, school year and course  as a basis for disciplinary consideration for  rewards, scholarships and graduation exams.

e) Confirm and post-check social policies for students according to current regulations.

g) Synthesize student data into software; management and storage of records related to students.

h) Responsible for advising the Board of Directors in the field of consulting and supporting student startups.

i) Carry out propaganda for students to implement dormitory rules.

k) Update the list of students and outpatients in each region to grasp the situation and provide information when requested.

l) Build a system of regulations related to student affairs.

m) Organize students to participate in support activities related to natural disasters, epidemics...

n) Connect and receive scholarship sources from organizations and individuals that award scholarships to students with difficult family circumstances to improve their studies.

2.2. Coordination mission

a) Organize a week of political activities for students; Monitor the learning, scientific research and training of students.

b) Carry out post-checking of documents and policies of students .

c) Maintain relationships through information channels with former students; Update information, data into software; Participate in post-training evaluation activities.

d) Organize the Opening Ceremony and Graduation Ceremony for students.

đ) Check food hygiene and general hygiene at the school, resolve requests for students' daily activities.

e) Coordinate to review and develop regulations and procedures for implementing regulations on learning, scientific research and student activities.

g) Coordinate with health agencies and functional units to organize health examinations for students according to regulations and implement health insurance policies.

h) Organize students to participate in cultural and artistic activities, sports, clubs and other healthy entertainment activities.

i) Coordinate to participate and organize admission consulting, career consulting, and job fairs for students. Organize promotional activities, training, scientific research, and start-up activities.

k) Search for scholarship funding sources; Support and direct all aspects of activities for students.

l) Manage and monitor equipment equipped for student in dormitory. Propose ideas to support additional tools and equipment to serve the learning and activities of students.

m) Coordinate with functional units to develop community service policies.

n) Coordinate with Hai Chau District Social Insurance to supplement knowledge for students about medical examination and treatment and other issues related to health insurance.

o) Coordinate with the police to manage security, safety and social order for internal and external students and carry out temporary residence procedures.

2.3. Perform other tasks as assigned by the School

a) Manage, evaluate, classify employees of Office according to the regulations of the School.

b) Manage facilities and equipment (preserve, operate, and use machinery and equipment) according to the School's regulations and the law.

c) Participate in union activities and perform other tasks as assigned by the School.
