On the morning of March 16, 2026, at Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy, the University held a meeting with a delegation from Tzu Chi University, Taiwan to discuss potential directions for cooperation in training and the development of high-quality healthcare human resources.
Attending the meeting on behalf of the University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thuy -Rector of the University; MSc. Dr. Cao Bich Thuy - Acting Deputy Head of the Office of Science - Technology Management and International Cooperation, along with staff members of the faculties and departments. Representing the partner institution were Mr. Chang Hsien Tai - Vice President; Mr. Yu-Ming (Mark) Kuo - Director of the Office of International Affairs; Mr. Lin Hsien Chun - Honorary Advisor to the President’s Office in Vietnam; and Ms. Huynh Luu Ngoc Ha - Director of Moonstone Company.
During the meeting, both sides discussed potential areas of cooperation in education, particularly joint postgraduate training programs and academic exchange opportunities for students and lecturers of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy. The delegation also introduced the strengths of Tzu Chi University in education and proposed opportunities for students and trainees of the University to continue their studies and research in Taiwan.
Tzu Chi University also presented scholarship programs for international students. These programs are designed as short-term study experiences in Taiwan, offering opportunities for academic engagement, enhancing research skills, and paving the way for further study at higher levels.
This program is considered a valuable opportunity for students of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy to access an international learning environment, improve their language proficiency, and expand future study opportunities in Taiwan.
